Since I am mailing out the invites tonight I am feeling very introspective about the wedding. The whole process this far has been stressful, expensive, aggravating, political, and completely wonderful. I couldn’t ask for a better man to make this journey with. For every temper tantrum I have thrown or every night I have woken up in a cold sweat worrying about how we are going to pay for something, Andy has been there to calm me down and talk me back from the ledge.
We are only a little over two months away from the wedding and I am getting more and more excited each day. In a way it feels like the weeks before Christmas did when I was younger. The wedding is so close, yet so far. I am beginning to dream about it. I spend as much time as I can trying to envision what the day will look like and anticipating what it will feel like. My to-do list keeps growing and I worry that I am going lose my mind trying to keep track of everything that needs to be done, but Andy said something to me the other day when I was having one of my afore mentioned “freak outs.” He told me that I like stress. At first I got really mad at him, but then when I thought about it…it is so true.
So here’s to stress and two months (give or take) until I get married!

OMG
Invites are going out this Sunday. All the wedding related bills are due. The bachelorette pary/Ladies' Luau is in a couple weeks. I have to seriously start thinking about the decorations.
All of a sudden the wedding is here!

David's Bridal Strikes Again
Lindsay went to pick up her bride's maid dress for the second time today and for the second time it was wrong. Right style and color this time, but completely wrong size. Apparently, back in April when we first went to get her dress, she was supposed to have been measured so that the correct size was chosen for her. Well, our saleswoman Angela did not feel that this was necessary. So the end result was a dress that whenever Lindsay breathed in or out the zipper would pop open.
The manager that helped Lindsay this time (who I think was the one that helped when the first mistake was made) was very nice. She seemed just as upset with the whole situation as my sister and mom were.
So where does that leave us? Well even though we ordered the dress in April, we won't get it until September 15th. I hope that it is right that time, but if it is not, there is no way I am paying for the dress.
If you know anyone that is getting married any time soon, please please please don't let them shop at David's Bridal. I know, the cheaper dresses seem worth it, but it is not. Or if you must shop there, be ready to settle for a dress that may be the wrong size, color, and/or style.
