It fits and looks pretty good, and to top it all off, it only cost me $180.
I don't know, in a way it felt weird that none of my friends or family were there when I tried it on. The dress got delivered to my parents' house, but when I went to try it on, no one was home. The dogs really seemed to like it though, so I guess that is a good sign. Maybe it is too early for my family to be excited, but I can't help but feel they are almost annoyed by the whole thing. I don't know what I am expecting, so I can't get too frustrated with them. I am trying to be aware of everyone's feelings during this whole process because I don't want to be a selfish bridezilla that doesn't realize people leave the room when she walks in because they can't possibly talk about her stupid wedding anymore than they already have. My sister has been a good meter for this. I watch her reactions and if she looks like she is going to hit me, then I back off. So far this has worked, but eventually I am going to need their help so we will have to talk about it. Oh...weddings! Are they really worth all the trouble?

It's lovely, and very Carly. I'm sorry I missed the chance to go shopping with you for it, though. Shopping with you for my gown was one of my best memories from the planning phase.
Love you much.
I love it! I think you will look beautiful in it! I'm just catching up with your wedding blog, but it looks like things are coming together well!
And yes, I think in the end, the wedding is worth it. We decided to go ahead with a wedding on such short notice that we kept it small and never had a reception. All things I think I would probably do differently.
Anyway- I'm having fun reading along! :)
